Summary:
The Finance Department has prepared this Ordinance to reflect a transfer from the Utility Administration Fund to the Utility Administration Capital Projects Fund related to the AMI Software Integration project. This project will entail Cayenta AMI Assistance for full implementation from which their statement of work requires an additional $53,990 than the original project estimate.

ORDINANCE 039-2026
AMENDMENT TO PROJECT ORDINANCE TO REFLECT ADDITIONAL BUDGETARY AUTHORITY IN THE AMOUNT OF $53,990 FOR THE AMI SOFTWARE INTEGRATION PROJECT AND REFERENCE CAYENTA
WHEREAS, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Lexington, North Carolina, that the following amendment be made to the Project Ordinance for the AMI Software Integration Project.
Section 1. The appropriations are to be changed as follows:
Section 2. The estimated revenues are to be changed as follows:
Section 3. Copies of this capital project ordinance shall be furnished to the Clerk to the City Council, and to the Budget Officer and the Finance Officer for direction on carrying out this project.
