Summary:
This Ordinance is to appropriate net position and authorize the transfer of $100,000 from the Stormwater Fund to the Stormwater Capital Projects Fund to cover preconstruction costs for infrastructure relocation and improvements in the depot district area located around Third Avenue, South Railroad Street, and Holland Brooks property located at 206 E 3rd Avenue.

ORDINANCE 041-2026
AMENDMENT TO THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2027 RELATED TO THE STORMWATER FUND REFERENCE DEPOT DISTRICT STORMWATER INFRASTRUCTURE RELOCATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Lexington, North Carolina that the following amendment be made to the annual budget ordinance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027:
Section 1. To amend the Stormwater Fund, the appropriations are to be changed as follows:
Section 2. To amend the Stormwater Fund, the estimated revenues are to be changed as follows:
Section 3. Copies of this budget amendment shall be furnished to the Clerk to the City Council, and to the Budget Officer and the Chief Financial Officer for their direction.
