Summary:
In accordance with N.C. General Statute 160A-71 and the City's Code of Ordinances, Article II, City Council, Section 2-20, the City Council is required to adopt a schedule stating the time and place for its regular meetings for the coming year. Furthermore, a copy of the City Council’s regular meeting schedule must be retained with the City Clerk.
Meetings of the Lexington City Council are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. unless noted otherwise on the adopted schedule or publicly noticed. Meetings will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the City Centre Council Chambers, Room 119, located at 200 North State Street, Lexington, North Carolina 27292.
